LaTria Rogers is a dedicated and compassionate mental health therapist with more than 15 years of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families across Maryland and Washington, DC. A proud graduate of Bowie State University, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003 and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2008.
Throughout her career, LaTria has held leadership roles in both correctional and school-based mental health settings. She previously served as a Lead Therapist with the DC Department of Corrections/Unity Healthcare and currently works as a Lead Mental Health Therapist with Prince George’s County Public Schools. Her extensive experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the emotional, behavioral, and social challenges impacting individuals and families within diverse communities.
LaTria is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges while building resilience, confidence, and emotional wellness. She believes the effects of the pandemic have significantly impacted children, adolescents, and families, contributing to increased mental health concerns, behavioral challenges, and social stressors. As both a therapist and mother, she understands the importance of accessible, supportive mental health services and strongly advocates for community-based care and early intervention.Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. LaTria strives to meet individuals where they are in their healing journey while creating a safe, supportive environment for growth and self-discovery. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches to help clients develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional functioning, and work toward living a more balanced and fulfilling life.
